|Localized underground pipeline rehabilitation "Point Liner System"
The "Point Liner System" is recommended for the localised rehabilitation of any damaged pipe by a simple and effective method. It is an appropriate technology for the fast repair of a damaged pipeline which is in a generally good condition without need for digging.
After having precisely located the damaged portion of pipe, an inflatable bladder (packer A) on which a resin soaked felt (B) has been wound is dragged in using pneumatic rods (C) and located using TV equipment.
Once located in position, the impregnated material is compressed against the pipe wall by inflation of the bladder, thus forcing resin to migrate into the fissures and cavities of the damaged section.
After curing, the bladder is deflated and removed leaving a smooth polished repair section.
